Welcome to a new year of Corunna Youth Football
This is going to be the start of a great 2014 football season.
We will have 5 sign-up dates this year. The last sign-up day will be the final day that sign-up will be allowed. So please write these dates down and let everyone you know of the dates. We will send out reminders to the schools and any other media we can to keep you reminded.
All in person sign-ups will be at the middle school cafeteria:
April 26th sat, 10am to 1pm
May 10th sat, 10am to 1pm
May 17th sat, 10am to 1pm
June 11th wed, 6pm to 8:30pm
June 14th sat, 10am to 1pm
Remember the on line sign up is open now so you can sign-up any time. Of course you can wait until the "in-person signup day" to signup.
We encourage that you use PayPal during the on line signup but there will also be the option to pay by check or cash. Registration must be paid in full by the last sign-up. If there has been no previous arrangement made with one of the board members to not have registration paid in full by the last sign-up that player will not be eligible to participate this year.
You will need to come to one of the in person sign-ups to have the players jersey sized. All jerseys need to be sized by the last sign-up in order to get the jerseys in time for our first game. Our jerseys this year will be very different from previous years. We will be showing our patriotism with a camo style jersey in our black and vegas gold colors. New this year we will offer in our apparel orders a very similar jersey as the players for everyone. Sample jerseys will be available at the sign-ups for everyone to try on.
Birth certificates, Physicals, and Concussion Awareness forms must be turned in at the first practice only. A member of the coaching staff or designated parent will be at the practice to except them. No child can participate until these forms are turned in. The concussion awareness training can be completed at any time between now and first practice. After the training is completed please print the last page, sign it, and turn in at first practice.
First football practice will be Aug 11th. Start times will come from your coach at a later date. Cheerleaders will start the following week, Aug 18th.
Equipment pick up will be:
July 28th - 7th/8th grades, 6pm to 8pm
July 29th - 5th/6th grades, 6pm to 8pm
July 30th - 3rd/4th grades, 6pm to 8pm
July 31st - make up day for those that could not make their assigned day, 6pm to 8pm
