Athletics News - Updated May 17th, 2013

Athletic Awards are scheduled for Wednesday June 12th, 4PM in our gymnasium.  All athletes from this school year are required to attend. 

Junior High Track Meet is on Tuesday May 28th and Wednesday May 29th.   Information will be provided to all participants. 

Congratulations to our HS Girls Handball team, who were selectedthe Most Sportsmanlike Team at ASAA Team Handball Provincials. 

Crusader Cup Hockey Game takes place Friday May 24th at Flames Community Arenas @ 4:30 p.m.   This is our annual staff vs. teacher hockey game.  There is a BBQ following the game back at CWA. 

Track and field is continuing! 

Sprints & Relays -  Monday & Wednesday 3:45-5:00.   (Mr. McClintock & Miss MacFarlane)

Hurdles & Distance Runs -  Tuesday/Thursday Lunch  12:20-12:45  (Miss MacFarlane)

Throws (Discus/Javelin/Shot Put) -  Tuesday and Thursday Lunch 12:20-12:45    (Mr. D'Angelo)

Long Jump/High Jump  - Tuesday and Thursday Lunch 12:20-12:45  (Mr. Fitzgerald)

This week in Outdoor Education Class: 

All outdoor education classes are outdoors for the duration of the school year.   Please have a swimsuit and towel on hand in case of inclement weather.  
  

Monday May 20th-  Grade 7 Boys do not have outdoor education due to Victoria Day long weekend.   

Tuesday May 21st - Grade 8 Girls are playing disc golf at WJ Homestead Disc golf course in Millarville.  Please have stury footwear and dress for the weather.   We will depart at 12:25. 

Wednesday May 22nd - Grade 10 students are completing the Challenge Course at Canada Olympic Park.  We will depart at 12:10.   

Thursday May 23rd -  Grade 9 Boys are heading to Sylvan Lake for their overnight outdoor education trip.  All infom has been provided over e-mail and to students.
