Welcome!
Welcome to the Official Web Site of Dedham Youth Baseball (DYB), a Web Site serving the Town of Dedham, Massachusetts. This Web Site was established by the Dedham Youth Baseball (DYB) Board of Directors with the intention of keeping our coaches, players, parents, volunteers, and supporters informed.
DYB is comprised of the following Divisions/Leagues: Babe Ruth League (ages 13-15), Major League (ages 11-12), Minor League (ages 9-10), Farm League (ages 7-8), Instructional League (ages 5-6), and Buddy Ball (ages 5 and up). DYB provides a year round schedule of baseball including Spring, Summer (Tournament, Travel, and In-Town), and Fall schedules as well as Winter Clinics.
The DYB Board of Directors has assigned League Presidents for each of the aforementioned baseball divisions/leagues. If you wish to contact DYB officials by email, please view the Contact Info page.
CalendarPlease view the Calendar List page for dates and times of important DYB Events. Also, please view the bottom of this page for the "Upcoming Events" section (scheduled calendar events).
No Smoking Policy
The Board of Health for the Town of Dedham enforces a regulation prohibiting smoking in public places. This includes all town owned parks and fields. As directed by the Dedham Parks and Recreation department in order to comply with the terms of our facilities usage permits, the Dedham Youth Baseball Board of Directors will be enforcing this regulation. We will be posting signs around the fields and instructing coaches and league officials to help with our efforts. We ask all of our family members and friends for their cooperation with our efforts to provide a safe and healthy experience for the children in our program.
DYB SponsorsView the Sponsors page for DYB Sponsors. Our sponsors are very important to us and help us to compete every year!
DYB Volunteers
DYB Volunteers are welcome at all levels, especially Coaches at the Instructional League and Farm League levels. If you wish to volunteer, please indicate so during the Online Registration process or check the volunteer box at bottom right of the player mail in registration card. Thank you.

DYB Spring Schedules and Standings
The Spring Schedules will be posted prior to opening day and will be available for viewing/printing for your conveinence. Please view the Schedules page for the complete schedules for Babe Ruth, Major and Minor Leagues.
The Spring Standings for Babe Ruth and Major Leagues will be posted on the DYB Web Site starting the opening week of the season and updated on a regular basis. Team wins, losses, ties, Winning Percentage, and Games Behind are the only statistics posted so that the overall league standings can be calculated. Therefore, the actual score of the ballgame will not be recorded on the DYB Web Site, but a 1 to 0 score to represent a win and loss and a 1 to 1 score to represent a tie. Points are calculated as follows; win = 2 points, and a tie = 1 point. Please view the Standings page for the complete standings for Babe Ruth and Major Leagues.
Note: There are no Minor League Standings. All Minor League Teams make the Minor League Tournament via a blind draw at the conclusion of the regular season.
