2012 Comedy Night Fundraiser
Dedham Youth Baseball wants YOU! Help us hit a home run!
Please join us on Saturday, March 31st for a great Comedy Night at West Roxbury Elks on Spring Street, featuring the hilarious Mike Donovan. All proceeds from the event will benefit Dedham Youth Baseball.
We also seek your support by donating a silent auction item for the event. As you may know, we nurture and field great teams. The support we receive locally continues to play a crucial role in the league's success - from Instructional all the way up through Babe Ruth.
We would like to ask [you/your business] to consider donating any item you wish - from gift certificates/cards and professional services to vacation weekends and sports/concert tickets. Whatever you choose, this item could represent hundreds of dollars in auction funds raised. If you are interested in donating a silent auction item, please contact Leslie Coughlin at lesliecoughlin@dedhamyouthbaseball.org.
Comedy Night, organized by volunteers from Dedham Youth Baseball, is the league's largest annual fundraiser. The proceeds from this event are used to keep registration fees down and make improvements to our fields. Some of the improvements we were able to make last year due to the generosity of our sponsors:
> New temporary outfield fence at Collins Field > Baseball storage container at Rustcraft Road Complex > All brand new field equipment: rakes, drag mats, brooms, batter's box template, field liner machine, and water hose. > New base systems for fields > Baseball Fun Day investments for Memorial Day (huge success) > Summer League uniform upgrade for all teams > Protective field screens for all fields > New Keurig coffee machine for Snack Shack > In the Works - new batting cages at Rustcraft Field
Tickets for DYB Comedy Night 2012 can now purchsed online by clicking the link to the right in the Registration box or email Lisa Nosky at Noskys@aol.com if you would like to reserve a table. Tickets are $35.00 pp or a table of 10 for $350.00. Please consider reserving a table if you'd like to be seated as a group. Individual tickets also available.
We hope to see you there and thanks in advance for your support. Dedham Youth Baseball is a 501(c) (3) entity. Your prize donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please visit our Web site anytime at www.dedhamyouthbaseball.org to learn more about Dedham Youth Baseball.
