Opening Day!!!
Opening Day is May 26th at 10:30. Free Dogs and Drinks for all players. All players will meet at the mall at 10:30 and if you have not received your shirts and hats yet you will get them at this time.There will be a small parade leading all kids to the field aproximately at 11 where we will have our opening day introductions and ceremony. Free hot dogs and drinks to the players immediately following and there will be a Mosqiuto game to follow at nooon. Have fun and see everyyone there!!!! -
Registration Fees: Developmental Ball $25.00 (5-8 as of December 31, 2012) PeeWee/Mosquito $55.00 (9-13 as of December 31, 2012) Bantam $75.00 (14-15 as of December 31, 2012)
The registratiion fees include everything. For T-Ball it includes insurance, hats, T-Shirts, opening day, 10-12 weekends of ball and end of year picnik in the park with medals and hot dogs for everyone!!! The other groups include insurance, opening day celebration, all star games awards and trophies and an end of year banquet for players and guests with some pizza delight. All free!!!! Come join the fun!!!!

Coaches always welcome for the upcoming 2011 season.
Being a coach is a great way to become involved in a childs life as well as being a positive role model within the community.
Coaches are welcome to volunteer for all age groups.

Join the Digby Minor Ball "Team"
The Digby Area Minor Baseball Association Executive is always seeking individuals who can help continue to give our community a baseball program for everyone to enjoy. The duties of the Executive are organizational and if you would like to dedicate some of your time and skills we would like to hear from you to discuss possible roles you can take on with Digby Minor Baseball.
Currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:
Secretary
Treasurer
Director of Fundraising
Canteen Committee
Director of Rally Cap Program
Bats for league use

Equipment is provided by the league, however if a player chooses to bring his/her own bat it must meet BNS requirements. Some players and parents have suggested that our bats are too small, this is not the case. Our bats are sized appropriately for the leagues age groups. If purchasing your own bat please follow a few simple guidelines:
1 - Look for bats that list Little League, Pony, Babe Ruth or Dixie.
2 - Maximum diameter of bat barrel can be only 2 3/4 inches.
3 - Just remember the bigger the bat does NOT mean the bigger the hit. It is best for players to have a lighter bat that they can handle.
