Welcome to the home of the Digby Area Minor Baseball Association 
Mission Statement
It is the mission of Digby Area Minor Baseball and Baseball Nova Scotia to develop the body, mind and spirit of our community youth. It is also our mission to make sure all participants learn the importance of team work and fair play.
Not only will we instruct the athletes in the fundamentals of baseball, but also promote life long values like self discipline, determination, sportsmanship and dealing with adversity.
Digby Area Minor Baseball will strive to make the game fun for all boys and girls who wish to play. We are offering an organized, supervised environment with emphasis on safety and participation. Our association offers young boys and girls a bully-free and memorable experience.

Registration is still available at the Digby Rink upstairs. Just ask Cindy for a form. E-mails will be sent out this week on your group info. If you have any questions, please contact Tim or myself. If you do not receive an email regarding your first practice please let us know ASAP!!
Join the Digby Minor Ball "Team"
The Digby Area Minor Baseball Association Executive is always seeking individuals who can help continue to give our community a baseball program for everyone to enjoy. The duties of the Executive are organizational and if you would like to dedicate some of your time and skills we would like to hear from you to discuss possible roles you can take on with Digby Minor Baseball.
Currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:
Director of Fundraising
Canteen Committee
Interested in Becoming a Coach????
Those interested in coaching are welcome to assist during the 2013 season.
Being a coach is a great way to become involved in a childs life as well as being a positive role model within the community.
Coaches are welcome to volunteer for all age groups.

Bats for league use

Equipment is provided by the league, however if a player chooses to bring his/her own bat it must meet BNS requirements. Some players and parents have suggested that our bats are too small, this is not the case. Our bats are sized appropriately for the leagues age groups. If purchasing your own bat please follow a few simple guidelines:
1 - Look for bats that list Little League, Pony, Babe Ruth or Dixie.
2 - Maximum diameter of bat barrel can be only 2 3/4 inches.
3 - Just remember the bigger the bat does NOT mean the bigger the hit. It is best for players to have a lighter bat that they can handle.
