Thanks to all of our teams for participating. We hope everyone had a great weekend. We are in the process of updating scores on the brackets. I have just posted another update. Please check these ... I am missing scores (I could have overlooked them ... today was very hectic). If your scores are missing please resend them to me (804-241-3291) and I will get them posted but it will likely be tomorrow before I udate again. We will use the schedules and brackets to post scores to USSSA. Paul will be taking care of that this week as quickly as he can. Thanks again for playing!!

LOOKS LIKE WE ARE A GO FOR TONIGHT!!!! Right now everything looks good for games and the derby tonight. There will be NO roadrunner. That field will not be available for tonight. Please keep a check here for additional updates but all looks good at this point.

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF EVALUATING THE FIELDS. WE WILL POST UPDATES HERE AS WE HAVE THEM TODAY. IT IS DOUBTFUL WE WILL BE ABLE TO GET EQUIPMENT ON THE FIELDS UNTIL LATER TODAY. WE ARE HOPEFUL THAT TONIGHT IS THE ONLY THING IN QUESTION BUT WILL RE EVALUATE LATER TODAY WITH THE COUNTY. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT BEING ABLE TO PLAY TOMORROW IS OUR PRIORITY SO EVEN IF WE HAVE ROCKWOOD READY WE HAVE MANY OTHER FIELDS TO TAKE CARE OF AND IN ORDER TO HAVE THE DERBY WE WILL NEED THE STAFFING AVAILABLE. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW ABOUT TONIGHT'S ACTIVITIES AS SOON AS WE HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT WE NEED TO DO.

The Top of the Rock is right around the corner!!!! We look forward to hosting you! We have started the process of posting the schedules. Please only pay attention to your game times, not the brackets or standings box. We are still updating those fields. The rest of the schedules should be up tonight.
Please make a note that all scores will need to be texted to 804-241-3291 after games are completed. This is the HOME TEAMS responsibility. Please get those scores to me as quickly as possible so we can make updates and hopefully have the brackets set quickly after the last games of the day.

Home teams need to either text or email their scores in after each game. Brackets can only be done once we have all the scores.

We will get the brackets done as quickly as possible this evening. We are completely aware of the weather forecast and unfortunately cannot control mother nature. Our goal is for everyone to play as many games on Sunday as possible. It will be cold so please have your player prepare accordingly. We would also encourage all teams to be at the fields early so we can begin games early in instances of slaughter rules or games moving quickly.

Happy St Patrick's Day to all our teams!!!! The schedules are done and we will be posting them this evening in a basic typed format. Paul is working on putting them in a fancier spreadsheet/bracket format that will be posted early next week. The typed format will at least give you your game times, who you are playing and where you are playing. Thanks for your patience as we get this put together. This has been a daunting task to say the least!! There are some additional fields being used that are not currently listed in the field tab. We will also get that updated this week. We look forward to seeing everyone next weekend.
14U COACHES ... WE ARE HOLDING OFF ON THE 14U SCHEDULES IN HOPES OF ADDING 1 OR 2 MORE TEAMS. WE WILL BE SENDING OUT AN EMAIL BUT IF YOU KNOW ANYONE INTERESTING IN PLAYING PLEASE HAVE THEM EMAIL US. THANKS!

The New Year is finally here so baseball season is right around the corner! We are excited to host everyone for both the Chesterfield Swing and the Top of the Rock! Some of our age groups have or are approaching waiting lists. We are working on securing additional fields but in the meantime have set deadlines for entry fees. Please be aware that any entry fee deadline set for later than Jan is subject to change based on continued registrations. If you are playing in both tournaments your entry fee is $400 and if you are playing only in one or the other your entry fee is $450. Please make your checks payable to Christine Butts and mail to 9301 Orchid Place, Chesterfield, VA 23832. Deadlines are detailed below by tournament.

With both events pulling in 80+ teams last year, we are once again partnering with Chesterfield Baseball Club to host the Chesterfield Swing in addition to our very own The Top of the Rock! Both events promise to be bigger and better than last year's events!
That's right, there will be TWO events AGAIN this year!!!
The Chesterfield Swing will be held March 22-24 2013 and will benefit Chesterfield Baseball Club.
The Top of the Rock ... The East Coast Classic will be held the weekend of April 5-7 2013 and will benefit Manchester High School's Baseball Program.
Both events will again be held in beautiful Chesterfield County, VA at Rockwood Park as well as at the newly renovated Ironbridge Park - home of the 11U Bronco World Series. We will also use other facilities around Chesterfield County to accommodate the large number of teams this year's events will draw.
Both events will feature age groups of 8U (coach pitch), 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U. Entry fee is $450 for all age groups except 8U. The entry fee for 8U is $275 including the gate fee (no additional discount will be given for 8U teams even if you sign up for both).
Register your team for both events and receive a $100 discount. ($400 per event $800 total). We are taking sign ups now so don't miss your chance to play in these great tournaments.
Entry fee due dates will be determined as each age group fills up. If a deadline is not set ahead of time all fees will be due for both events no later than March 10, 2013.
Please check back frequently for updates on events such as the home run derby, etc!
In addition to the activities the tournament has to offer, Rockwood Park has walking trails, a full sized playground, basketball courts and a nature center. Ironbridge Park also has a playground.
Both the Chesterfield Swing and the Top of the Rock will offer full concessions all weekend. Check back for our "MENU" tab to be opened for a complete list of concessions at each location!
