Project Graduation started at Eastern High School in 1993. It is a drug and alcohol free graduation party for all graduating seniors held the night of graduation at The Funplex/Falls in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Transportation, entertainment, prizes and food are provided. The event is funded by the work of parent volunteers from ALL GRADES, various fundraisers, donations, the Municipal Alliance and the Eastern Educational Foundation.

We need you! If you are a parent (incoming freshman, freshman, sophomore, junior or senior), we need your help in raising money and planning for this special party held for all graduating seniors on the night of graduation.

**Most of all, we need parents who are interested in keeping Project Graduation an active organization at Eastern! Don't wait until your child is a senior. GET INVOLVED NOW! We need parents in all grades to volunteer so that they can learn the operation of the organization to make their child's Project Graduation Party a success!

This year Graduation will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Thank you for supporting Eastern's Project Graduation!

Dear Eastern Regional High School Families,

We are reaching out to Eastern families to support Project Graduation. Project Graduation is a non-profit organization, run by parents, with the single goal of hosting a supervised, alcohol and drug free, party so that our Eastern graduates can safely enjoy one final outing together on the evening after their graduation.  This year, the party will be held at The Funplex/Falls in Mt. Laurel, NJ.   Transportation, entertainment, and food will be provided. The cost of this event is estimated to be $40,000.

We raise funds for this event through our membership dues of $15.00 per family, the Holiday Craft Show (December 3, 2016) and sponsorships from generous local businesses, EEF and BGV Municipal Alliance. We have 1300-1500 families at Eastern. If every Eastern family joined Project Graduation, at least $20,000 could be raised every year. That would meet 50% of the costs of the event. Since deposits are due a year before graduation we are currently raising money not just for the seniors’ graduation event but also for the juniors’ event next year. Should we raise enough money to cover Project Graduation for the Classes of 2017 and 2018 this year  then any extra money would  remain in the bank account to fund future post graduation events (Classes of 2019, 2020,etc.).

Please join Project Graduation this year, and every year that your family has a child at Eastern. The money you donate benefits every future graduate- not only seniors.

Sincerely, Project Graduation Membership Committee 2016-2017

Michele Bonomo  and Stephanie Caputi
