The field for the 2011 Independence Day Tournament in Boulder has been finalized and your team has been selected as one of eighty teams to participate. The 2011 field will be one of the strongest ever including teams from twenty four states. The 2010 Premier Girls Fastpitch National Champion CA So Cal Athletics, the 2010 ASA Gold National Champion GA East Cobb Bullets, and the 2010 ASA 18A National Champion IL Stone City Sharks will all be part of the Boulder tournament. Additionally, 17 teams who finished in the top 10 at those three events will be in the participating in the tournament.
We will also be hosting a separate thirty two team 18U tournament in Louisville, CO. The top six finishers will be guaranteed spots in the 2012 Boulder tournament. The 16U tournament has been expanded to include eighty teams and will be played in Longmont and Erie CO.
We appreciate the support you have given the tournament, and look forward to another terrific event next summer. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding the tournament.
Dan Burns Tournament Director
From the Force Family, a big thank you to Dan and his tournament team.
DARING TO WEAR PINK!
The Force 18 Gold staff would like to thank all the players, some who traveled from great distance to make our tryout the success it was. It was great to see some former Force players come back to play and to see the new players who will only make the Gold team stronger. We had players come from every county that make up the Central Cal ASA Metro for the first time in nearly 5 years.
We would also like to thank those players who came for individual workouts due to scheduling conflicts or the need for confidentiality.
We will post the final roster once all of the extended invitations have been returned.
Good Luck to all next season!
