Congratulations to our players and their high school teams as they advance in the Section II High School Baseball Tournaments!

Voorheesville High School won their quarter-final game against Hoosic Valley High School and will advance to the semi-final round. They will face Greenwich on Saturday May 26th at 1:00 pm at Shuttleworth Park.

Voorheesville won their Semi-final match against Greenwich and will now advance to the Class C Final against Hoosick Falls on Thursday May 31st at 4:00 at the Joe Bruno Stadium

Guilderland High School won their quarter-final match against Shaker High School to advance to the Class AA semi-final round. They will face Columbia High School Tuesday May 29th at The Joe Bruno Stadium at 7 pm.

Babe Ruth League bats may not exceed 34" in length, and the bat barrel may not exceed 2 5/8" in diameter. All aluminum/alloy barrel bats and all composite handle (only) aluminum/alloy barrels are allowed. Only composite barrel bats certified and marked BBCOR .50 will be allowed. Wood barrel bats conforming to the specifications of Official Baseball Rule 1.10 are allowed. If you are unsure if your bat is approved for Babe Ruth play, please contact Jack Sturn at jsturn1@verizon.net for guidance.
