Spring 2017 Registration Information

Welcome to the Georgetown Youth Baseball Association 2017 Spring Season Registration.

Registration for all players will be ONLINE ONLY, including payment options of credit card, debit, or gift card.  League Line-up accepts credit, debit, and Visa/Mastercard gift cards.  The processing of cash and checks is highly labor intensive and in order for us to focus our attention in areas that better serve the children it has been decided to eliminate this additional option.

All players who registered online in the seasons should be able to register for the 2017 Spring Season through their current account in the “Returning Users” section.

All players who did not register in the prior seasons will be required to create a “New User” account prior to registration by selecting the “Create Account” link.

The 2017 Fall Season Registration fees are as follows:

Early Registration Discount: $10 if registered before January 1st.
Late Registration Fee:  Additional $25/per player (After January 31st)

  • 4U League:  $90
  • 5U-6U:  $155
  • 7U-8U:  $165
  • 9U-10U:  $185
  • 11U-12U:  $195
  • 13U-14U:  $200

The following dates are planned for Spring Season 2017 (Preliminary and subject to change).  

December 1: First day of early registrations. $10 early registration discount.

December 31: Early registration closes and regular registration continues.

January 15: Manager applications due to Commissioner

January 24: All financial aid requests must be submitted to the Registrations Director, Ricardo Moncada (Ricardo's Email) no later than this date.

January 31: Regular registration closes and late registration opens, runs through end of tryouts or until closed due to leagues being full ($25 late fee and space limited).

February 1: 9/10U D1 and 12-14U 48 Baseball Team Rosters Due to Commissioners.  (Current roster template is located under the manager tab on the website.  Please complete it in its entirety.  We will be using the same style fitted hats and jerseys for Spring.  Please fit your players and provide the information with your roster.)

February 13: Pre-season Parent/Player Meeting at Georgetown Community Center by Sunken Gardens, 7pm. New to the league parents are encouraged to come.

February 15: 1st tryout window for 5U through 12U players, 5:30pm-8:30pm, walk-up registration available as long as there is space in the league.

February 16: 2nd tryout window for 5U through 12U players, 5:30pm-8:30pm, walk-up registration available as long as there is space in the league.

February 18: Make-up/rainout tryout window for 5U through 12U players, 9:00am-1:00pm, walk-up registration available as long as there is space in the league.

February 18: Spring Work Day starting at 9:00am if there are no tryouts, if tryouts, we will work after tryouts on Fields 5, 6, and 7.

February 19: Team draft held, site and location TBA.

February 20: Fields open for practices to start.

February 25: Spring Work Day starting at 9:00am.  We will work on anything left needing attention.

March 4: Opening ceremonies, beginning of season games, and team pictures.

March 10-19: No games due to Spring Break.

April 3-8: Mid-season Tournament Week.

April 14-16: No games due to Easter Weekend.

April 23: All-star nominations due to Commissioners.

May 7: All-star teams selected.

May 13-14: End of Season Tournament and Closing Ceremonies following Championship game.

June 3: Beginning of All-Star games.
