2012 Spring tournament dates added to the website!Every year our goal is simple, deliver a well organized tournament with strong competition. Over the years the Green Mountain Avalanche has attracted AAA teams from across New England and from Canada.
Our tournaments will feature Jay Peak and Cairns Arenas for our home venues. Jay Peak has the NEW indoor water park and onsite hotels with a premier rink and staff. Cairns Arena has two premier, centrally located multi-pad venues totalling two rinks in one location, convenience of travel will complement the vast competition.
Tournament games will be played within a small geographic area in Jay Peak VT or in South Burlington VT, minutes away from the city's downtown attractions and restaurants.

Registration for 2012 Spring League March 19th -April 19th
at Cairns Arena!GMA is now accepting registrations for the SPRING 2012 Season and everyone is invited to Join !! The league is open to both Boys and Girls. Green Mountain Avalanche will provide a place for the Beginner, Intermediate and the Advanced player to play at a higher level by mixing players so that each team will challenge it's players to play their best. The strength of this concept lies in the belief that highly skilled players, playing with others of similar skills, are able to learn more about teamwork and the game of hockey. Our Spring program guarantees every player an equal opportunity to play with equal ice time. The league is designed for ALL players to have FUN and at the same time improve their skills in Skating and Team Play.
The Green Mountain Avalanche hockey experience will alone be extraordinarily educational for all players, again GMA is designed to help the individual improve as a hockey player. Additional benefits include the expansion of life experience and the development of self-confidence, all while having fun with their teammates!
