Harrison Adult Softball 2011 BATS
You may use “METAL” hitting surfaces only
Exceptions: PST (metal) is banned.
All composite bats are Banned except:
the Mizuno Techfires-
Blue, Black, Red & *Orange*.
*However*: the Mizuno Orange Crush Original which is not ASA approved is BANNED.
PENALTY FOR USE OF AN ILLEGAL BAT:
• Loss of all runs that inning, 3 outs, Inning will be over.
• Player ejected from game
• Plus 2 game suspension
• $75 fine applies
Recreation Supervisor has the authority to change any rule
& ban any additional bats throughout the season.
2011 ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUE
HOME PLATE & STRIKE ZONE MAT
• Legal pitches striking any portion of Home Plate (including the black) and/or the Strike Zone Mat shall be strikes.
• Together, Home Plate & the Strike Zone mat will form a rectangular shape.
PITCHERS PLATE
• Pitcher’s Option: In the best interest of the pitcher’s safety, the pitchers plate has been extended back 6 feet. The pitcher now has the option of pitching anywhere from 50 ft. to 56 ft. if properly delivered from the pitchers plate & back directly behind pitchers plate within 6 ft.
