Due to a 2018 passed Federal Law, The Safe Sport Act, if you have not been through a Hattiesburg DBB Baseball run national background check (criminal and sex offender) and the results on file with the league, you are not allowed on the playing field as a coach during practice or games.
There is no mandatory play rule in Hattiesburg DBB. Playing time is at the discretion of the coaches. While we all try to get everyone in and an at bat each game, sometimes it's not possible.
Bat Rule
Effective January 1, 2018, 2 5/8” bats used in DBB Baseball play
must meet new performance standards established by USA Baseball and have the USA Baseball Logo.
BBCOR bats will continue to be allowed in DBB!
There is a city ordinance that does not allow dogs in our park. Please do not bring your pet to the ball park. We will ask you to take Rover out of the park.
Park along the side fence at your own risk. The league, the club, and the City of Hattiesburg do not pay to replace broken windows.
