HDBB Opening Day 2017. Great Day, great weather, great games. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the day special.

Cameron Field and the batting cages are closed to use by anybody other than official Hattiesburg Dixie Boys teams.  The fields are scheduled for use each day until the first week of August.

HDBB and The Hattiesburg Optimist Club are pleased to announce the official kickoff of our commemorative brick sale. We invite all current and former players, coaches, and supporters to buy a brick and cement your legacy as part of history at historic Cameron Field, home to HDBB for 61 years. The brick cost is $50.00. We are also offering a 12x12 granite tile in black with gray engraving. The tile cost is $125.00. Order forms can be found on the left menu.

There is a city ordinance that does not allow dogs in our park. Please do not bring your pet to the ball park. I have let this slide this year, but, the City has received several complaints. We will have to start asking you to remove the pet per the City of Hattiesburg.

Please return all foul balls to the concession stand. We are having far to many not being returned. Keeping game balls will cost everyone in the league more money in the long run. Thank you for your help.

Due to insurance regulations only players, coaches, and Dixie Officials are allowed on the playing field and/or the dugouts. Nobody is allowed to be on the field for practice or games that is not on a Hattiesburg Dixie Boys roster. The only time this is waived is in the event of an injury to a player, coach or umpire. This policy will be enforced this season. We have no choice due to insurance and safety reasons.

Parking in front of the fence is a high risk. The City and the Optimist Club do not pay to replace broken windshields or windows. We have several broken each season. Park in these spots at your own risk.
