            Dear Member,


On Monday, February 3rd, there is a mandatory Elections Meeting at 7:30 PM in the Connetquot High School cafeteria.  All Executive Officer positions will be up for election, as well as the Board positions currently held by Scott Santelli, Steve Figliozzi and the position that was held by Ira Levine.  These positions are for three year terms.  All nominations should be directed to Tom Gilroy, our Elections Chairman.  


Dues for the 2013/2014 season ($121) are due now and must be paid no later than February 3rd (elections meeting).  Late dues paid after February 3rd will be $242.  For dual members (primary board is not Bd 127), dues are $89 with the same double dues penalty imposed in the event of untimely payment.


Our annual dinner will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Captain Bill’s which is located in Bay Shore.  Cocktails will be served at 6:30PM.  There is a $20 surcharge for the dinner payable by February 3rd.  The surcharge increases to $30 if paid after that date.  If a member pays the surcharge and fails to attend the dinner, the member will be assessed the full price of the dinner.  The payment for the dinner can be included with your dues payment and submitted to Jim Steigele no later than the night of the Elections Meeting. 


Enclosed is your Official’s Award ballot and award criteria.  The ballots are postage paid for your convenience.  Completed ballots should be mailed to Jim Steigele.  


The “Bob Grant Tip-Off Classic” annually generates scholarship opportunities for high school students.  This would not be possible without the commitment and dedication of tournament chairman Andy Edmundson and his committee members.  Please submit scholarship applications to our Scholarship Chairman Tom Forester, no later than March 1, 2014.
