Jan 19 - Practice Note
Practice is cancelled tonight (Thurs Jan 19). The building is closed due to weather. We will practice tomorrow (Friday Jan 20) from 12-3 at Central. Everybody should pack a lunch!!
I'll hang out with the 6th graders at the MS from 11-12 and then we'll carpool the girls over to Central.
Everybody stay safe and warm tonight and hopefully the roads will look better for us tomorrow!

Girls, what can I say? YOU GUYS DID AMAZING!! I was so impressed at how well all of the stunts went up, and how far your splits went down! This is a video of you guys at last night’s competition,Competition Video we couldn't get the whole mat in, but all of you are in it at some point or another :) It was sent to me in three different files so there are some glitches, but you guys can handle it! Don't forget you do have a competition tomorrow morning, (Saturday, January 7th, 2012) Everybody needs to be at Cedar Springs at 9:00 am. Everybody needs to make sure that they have their uniform on, and a bow in their hair, and WHITE shoes on their feet. Coach Sarah will be the only one there, so make sure you guys stay on task.. the whole time! I hope you guys do great tomorrow, see you all Monday :)

So much to do, so little time!
Thursday Jan 5, arrive @MS 4:30 (no later than 5) to help set up for the middle school meet. Purple t-shirts and black shorts. Meet begins at 6 and we will perform between rounds.
Saturday Jan 7, arrive 9 AM Cedar Springs HS. Meet begins at 10 and we will perform between rounds.
Monday Jan 9, arrive @MS 4:30, we will perform at half time of the 2nd basketball game (1st game starts at 4:15)
Thursday Jan 12 practice as usual at Central!

First Exhibition
Our Competitive team was AMAZING today! They waited patiently at Jenison High School while 28 7th & 8th grade teams took the mat. Nerves were high (although I'm pretty sure as coaches we were more nervous than the girls). When they finally got their chance to perform they rocked out thier routine!
We still have a few changes to make as we get closer to our big competition at Catholic Central, but for now the girls can breath a big sigh of relief. The first time jitters are out of the way and they should be very, VERY proud of how well they did.
Way to go Lady Knights!
