Dear Parents,
As President of Kendall Hammocks Youth League Baseball, I would like to welcome you and your children to the 2010 KHO
Baseball program.
Hammocks Optimist Baseball is a non-profit ALL VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION. As always, we ask that you strongly consider making time to be involved. Consider being a Manager, Coach, Assistant, Umpire, Team Mom, Scorekeeper or concession worker. I guarantee immediate gratification.
As we enter our 23rd season we celebrate not just another year, but the satisfaction of being part of the finest Youth Baseball Program in Dade County.
Please consider sponsoring a team or recruiting a business that will. Your donations help to improve the social fabric of our community. There is no better feeling than knowing that your money has put a smile on kids faces, when they see themselves in uniforms 'just like the pro's'.
My sincere thanks to all the local business organizations that have sponsored Hammocks Baseball teams in the past. Your continued support supplies over 40% of our total operating revenue.
Please support your Park Concession Stand. All of the profits derived from the sales go directly to the program for improvements to the fields, purchase of equipment, uniforms and trophies.
Ask about our special pricing for Team and Birthday parties.
Should you have any questions or problems during the year, please contact me or any member of the Board of Directors. They will be happy to assist you.
Thank you for joining us for the 2010 season.....and above all have fun!
Sincerely,
Al Engle
President - Hammocks Baseball
