12/2, 12/4, 12/6 - Select Baseball Tryouts (Exact Dates/Times/Divisions TBD)

12/9, 12/11, 12/13 - Elite Baseball Tryouts (Exact Dates/Times/Divisions TBD)

12/15 - Spring Rec Baseball Registration Opens (Closes 1/30)

1/17 - Onsite Spring Rec Registration at Academy (10am-2pm)

1/24 - Onsite Spring Rec Registration at Dick's Sporting Goods (10am - 2pm)

1/30 - Final Day of Spring Rec Registration being held onsite at KYA Field House (6-8pm)

1/31 to 2/8 - Rec Head Coach's Meetings at KYA Field House

2/9 to 2/15 - Rec Player Looks* (Exact Dates/Times/Divisions TBD)

2/15 to 2/22 - Rec Player Drafts/Team Formations

3/4 & 5 - Coach/Parent/Team Work Day @ KYA Fields (6-8pm)

3/16 - Spring Rec Baseball Opening Day!

4/5 - All Star Head Coach Applications Due

4/6 to 4/10 - All Star Head Coach Interviews

4/19 to 4/21 - All Star Tryouts (Exact Dates/Times/Divisions TBD)

5/15 - Final Day of Rec League Season

5/16 to 5/22 - End of the Season Rec Tournament

 

*Rec Player Looks - If a participating player does not complete 100% of the entire player look session they attend, then they will be placed in the blind draft.  No exceptions!

 


Age division is determined by the player's age as of April 30, 2015.

 

More info on the KYA structure:

Select Baseball – This is our most advanced and competitive division. If you child has excelled at baseball and is showing a serious commitment and interest, we encourage you to tryout.  Players must try out for placement on these teams.

 

Elite Baseball – This division is dedicated to developing players in a more competitive setting than the Recreational league. These teams are often All-Star players from the Rec division who are ready to take that next step.  Players must try out for placement on these teams.

 

Rec Baseball – This division is meant for all players of any level, who just want to have some fun. Baseball is a great team sport, and we offer any one the chance to play in our Rec division. No tryouts are necessary.
