Sideline Conduct
The Little Guys Conference has asked all clubs to remember the rules for sideline conduct. These apply to both the LGFC, and the NESAC leagues that LBYO plays in.

  • No person should be standing in the area of the endzones. This is not just a rule for coaches, it applies to everyone including parents and camera operators.
  • Only registered coaches (those with ID cards for the playing team) are allowed on the sidelines. In the case of LGCF, a Board member will be checking ID's, even though our coaches are well known we must still produce an ID card. In other words, STAY BEHIND THE ROPES.
  • Hollering about officals, or any other abusive conduct will result in the offender being ejected from the playoff SITE, not just the field. That means get in the car and go home.
  • Some parents may say that they have a right to do as they please on a public field. That logic may work, but it will be the head coach that will then be told to leave the playoff site, and the club will get a $100 fine.
Above all, we need to remember that we are all here for our kids. Our sidelines and fans are typically well mannered, however playoffs can bring the best and sometimes the worst out of all of us. Let's all try to make sure that our kids see us at our best!
