What’s new in 2016
MMBL is planning to add a 9u division in 2016. The 9u division will enjoy all the benefits enjoyed by the 10u – 14u divisions including inclusion in the cross town classic and eligibility for the MMBL league award to name a few benefits.
Scheduling will coordinate through the local coaches with the season running from April – early July allowing for teams to coordinate around full time travel and/or in house shared commitments.
Please spread the word and help us fill the league as quickly as possible.
Silver / B Level league to compliment the A division:
As baseball expands and changes, MMBL has been approached by multiple local organizations about expanding to include a “B” division.
MMBL is prepared to expand to include a “B” division in 2016. This division will run in compliment to the standard “A” division and is contingent on age group participation. If you are interested please contact the league or show up at the kick off meeting.

People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring. ~Rogers Hornsby
"The spirit, the will to win and the will to excel, these are the things that endure and these are the qualities that are so much more important than any of the events that occasion them." ~Vincent Lombardi~
In 1968, following the loss of his 12-year-old son to an asthma attack, Lou Lindebaum started Mike's Memorial Bronco League. Each year, the Mike's Memorial Award is given to a player within the league who best exemplifies good sportsmanship and fair play. The tradition of the Award lives on, and today, through the dedication and commitment of volunteers, the league has evolved into the Lake County Baseball League.
