There will be a $20.00 late fee for signing your child up late. The cutoff dates are:
Softball/Farm/Minors & Majors - April 4th
T-Ball - April 18th
Babe Ruth - April 30th
The reason is we need to know how many kids to figure how many teams and get games scheduled.
LJAL Tball Information
Birthdate cut off is April 30th. Your child must turn 5 before April 30th to play tball.
T-ball clinics (ages 5-6)
When: Saturdays (April 25, May 2, and May 9) 10:00am – 11:00am
Where: LCS Gym
Purpose: To increase players’ skills in the areas of throwing, catching, batting, and game knowledge
Clinics will be conducted in a structured setting with small group work, stations, and highly engaging activities.
Tball League (ages 5-6)
Registered players will be placed randomly on teams in late April. We do not honor requests for players to be on teams with their “best friends” because we feel Tball is the perfect place to meet new friends and grow socially. Tball leagues will begin the week of May 11th with one or two practices that week and the first game on May 16th. After the first game there are no more scheduled practices, just games. The Tball season lasts until the end of June with a celebration on the last Saturday of June. Tball games will be twice a week, one weeknight (TBD) from 5:30-6:30 and one weekend day (TBD) from 9:00-10:00am.
PLEASE SIGN UP ONLINE AT WWW.LJAL.ORG. SIGN UP DEADLINE IS APRIL 18TH. LATE SIGN UPS WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $20.

LJAL's mission is to promote the growth of baseball and softball at all levels of competition of the Lisbon community. The development of sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, courage, respect for others, and physical fitness are the organization's priorities. To accomplish this mission, we seek to attain the following:
- To govern the league in a manner that puts the development of our players, as both athletes and individuals, above other considerations.
- To provide our players with volunteer coaches who work with players of all ability levels and who remember that development of exceptional athletic skills and winning games is secondary to the development of players and providing our players with positive examples and a positive baseball / softball experience.
- To provide our players with volunteer coaches who seek to teach those players the rules of the game along with proper baseball and softball fundamentals.
- To provide high-quality facilities and safe equipment for the use of our players.
