We will hold open tryouts for the Jr High Club team November 9th and 15th from 1 - 3:30 in the Little Miami Middle School gym. This is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders
On November 16th, there will be an additional session for invite only callbacks. *if there is a large turnout, cuts may be made to 6th grade level on day one.
In previous years, tryouts have been held in February but we are moving up the timeline to help with scheduling, to allow the possibility of fundraising to offset costs, and to allow sufficient time to order uniforms.
Registration Form
Players should bring all personal equipment as they would to a practice/game. This includes catching gear for anyone that wants to show their catching skills during tryouts. Players should wear gym shoes...NO CLEATS. Dress like you would for a softball practice. Bring your own water bottle. Tryouts will be run similar to a practice and players will be given an opportunity to be evaluated on a variety of skills including fielding, throwing, running, hitting, etc.
Players must be registered online before entering the gym for tryouts. We can't let any players participate in tryouts without the online waivers being signed.
