Bat Moratorium
The Babe Ruth League has issued a bat moratorium on all composite bats for ages 13U and above. Please click on the link to Babe Ruth's website for more information and a listing of approved composite bats. For age groups 12U and younger it is important that all bats have stamped on the bats "Approved for Play in Babe Ruth Baseball".

Long Valley Baseball Mission Statement
The objective of the LVBC is to teach the children of this community the concepts of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority so that they may become well-adjusted, stronger and happier children who will grow to be respectable, trustworthy adults.

To achieve this objective, the LVBC will provide a supervised program of baseball games under its rules and policies. Executive Committee members, coordinators, coaches and others associated with our program should keep in mind that the stressing of exceptional athletic skills or the winning of games is secondary. The type of leadership given to the children is the primary priority.

The most important part of our organization is our spring recreational program. Although we fully support and encourage participation in our summer and fall programs, these programs will not compromise the value and objectives of the spring program.

Please contact us through the "contact info" link at left, or at our PO Box below if you have any questions, concerns, or issues regarding Long Valley Baseball.
