Magic Alumni Strike Gold in Finland!

January 27, 2016

The Magic Association is extremely proud of our alumni Sam Renooy, Keyona Tomiuk, and Talia Gallant who travelled to Finland as part of Team Canada Jr.  to participate in the World Ringette Championships and came home with Gold medals.  All three of these talented ladies were also a part of the team that represented Manitoba at the Canada Winter Games earlier in 2015 where they also won a gold medal.  It has been quite a year for them and we are all excited and proud to call them Magic alumni!!!

Magic Alumni Bring Home Gold from Canada Winter Games!!

January 26, 2016

Manitoba brought home the gold medal from the 2015 Canada Winter Games which were held in Prince George British Columbia.  Magicc was well represtented on this team with many of the players being Magic alumni and the head coach being our own Rob walker who has been part of the Magic association fopr many years. Way to go Team Manitoba we are all very proud of you.

What is AA Ringette?

AA is the highest level of ringette played in Manitoba.  It is a league that is run by the Manitoba Ringette Association and consists of try-out teams within 3 age groups: U14, U16, and U19.

Who Plays Magic Ringette?

The Magic Association is made up 5 ringette associations, Interlake, North Winnipeg, St. James, MacDonald and River East.  Players from these 5 associations make up the majority of our teams.

How Can I play for a Magic team?

If you are a ringette player who lives in any of the 5 Magic associations (MacDonald, St. James, North Winnipeg, Interlake, River East) you can try-out for a Magic team by signing up for AA try-outs in April.  To be part of try-outs you must register with Ringette Manitoba (RMB).  A registration form is usually sent out to current ringette players in February, simply fill it out, add your registration fee, return both to the RMB office and wait to be assigned to a try-out group.
