MAYS 12U AA COUNTY CHAMPIONS !!! & HYSL 9TH ANNUAL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT 2012 CHAMPIONS!!!
Congratulations to the MAYS 12u Winter Boys' Basketball team for being the Anne Arundel County League 2011-2012 Champions and the HYSL 9th Annual Invitational Tournament 12 & Under 2012 Champions!!!
MAYS 7-8 Year Old Winter Boys' Basketbal Team 2011-2012
MAYS Hornets 7-8 year old team are participating in two (2) winter leagues this 2011-2012 winter season; Chick Webb (Baltimore) & Elvaton/Buccaneers (Anne Arundel County). From front left the following players are; Kanye Fields, Bryson Spruell, Amir Sommerville, Joshua Chambers, Back left; Assistant Coach Frank Chambers, Byron Smith Jr., Amir Thomas, Malik Davis, Jovian Sloman, Rasean Howard, Zach Rodriguez and Head Coach Darnell Spruell.
2011 AAU Maryland District 14u/8th Grade Runner up!!!
MAYS 14u/8th Grade are the 2011 Maryland District AAU Runner up Champions!!! Congratulations to the following; front left Kahlil Newkirk, Bruce Spruell, Eric Brown Jr., Danny Dion, Carlos Scaggs. Back left; Adam Ogbonuba, Trent Smoot, Trey Chambers,Vincent Marshall, Regale Goings, and Daivon Tapscott. Coaches; Jerry Mason, Bruce Spruell, Frank Chambers and Larry Goings. This MAYS team also represented the state of Maryland in the Division III AAU National Tournament in Hampton Virginia and placed 5th in this contest. Congratulations again!!!
2011 National Capital Classic Champion 14u/8th Grade
MAYS 14u/8th Grade are the 2011 National Capital Classic Champions!!! This tournament was held in Chantilly Virginia. MAYS 14u/8th Grade are the 2011 Flames Summer Challenge 8th Grade 14u Tournament Champions!!! This tournament was held in Boyds Maryland. 2010 MAYS/Crusader Nation 13u Boys' AAU Basketball Team Placed 2nd in Super Regional Tournament
MAYS/Crusader Nation 13 and under boys' Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball team placed second (runner-up) in the 2010 AAU Super Regional basketball tournament in Downington, PA. From the left and behind are Coach Frank Chambers, Colin McCabe, Shane Nelson, Larry Boyd Jr., Adam Ogbonuba, Matthew Egan and Head Coach Bruce Spruell Sr. From left in front are Carlos Scaggs, Seth Madden, Bruce Spruell Jr., and Jaelin Alburg. Missing are Frank "Trey" Chambers Jr., Isaiah Nelson, and David Martin. This placement provided this local team the opportunity to represent the state of Maryland in the 2010 AAU Division II National Championship Tournament in Memphis, TN.

Maryland Academy of Youth Sports (MAYS) 2009 boys' 12 & under basketball team finished their season undefeated and placed first in the Maryland Sports Plex 12 & Under Tuesday Night Summer Basketball League in Severna Park. The following players on this team are front left; Jack Shugars, Frank "Trey" Chambers III, Bruce Spruell II, Jared Noble, David Martin. Back row left; Isaiah Nelson, Colin McCabe, A. Farooq Dura and Kyle Andrews.
MAYS 12u Winter Boys' Basketball Team 2008-2009 Champions in Columbia Raven & GGB Terps League!!!
Maryland Academy of Youth Sports (MAYS) 2008-2009 boys' 12 & Under Winter Basketball Team went undefeated and placed first in the Columbia Ravens 12u Sunday Basketball League. MAYS 12u team also placed first in the Greater Glen Burnie (GGB) Terps 12 & Under Sunday Basketball League. Unfortunately, MAYS 12u team fell one win short of placing first in the Anne Arundel County 12u Division "A" Saturday Basketball League taking second place. The following players to be congratulated are front left; Isaiah Nelson, Bruce Spruell II, Korey Beamon, Parker Gesualdi, Trevelin Queen. 2007 Runners up!!! 10 & Under AAU team
MAYS Hornets 10 & Under were runner-up to Sam Cassell All-stars in the Maryland State District Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Championship game on April 29, 2007 at Morgan State University, Baltimore Maryland. Sam Cassell (Los Angeles Clippers) presented the MAYS Hornets their awards. MAYS will be competing in the 10 and under AAU National tournament held in Coco Beach Florida starting July 15th. From front left the following individuals are; Jaylen Avery, Khalid Slocum, Bruce Spruell II, Isaiah Nelson.
