Mission Hills High School Boys Basketball

SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP

What????       Grizzly Summer Basketball!

Who?????      All boys interested in MHHS Basketball!

Where????     Mission Hills H.S. Grizzly Pavilion

When????      9 camp sessions over a 3 week period!

Why????        To have fun, improve skills, and learn the game.

The Grizzly Basketball Staff here at MHHS would like to invite all interested high school boys to participate in our Grizzly Basketball camp. Unlike most other camps, our boys’ camp consists of three two hour sessions each week for 3 weeks.  Players will get an opportunity to work with the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman coaching staff during these sessions. Instruction will focus on fundamentals of offensive basketball, as well as teaching Mission Hills offensive and defensive philosophy. In short, athletes will get a head start on some of the things they will learn during the basketball season, and have fun in the process.

Additionally, there will be a frosh summer league team that will play games in June and July at Rancho Buena Vista HS. Game days will generally be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with start times from 3-6 pm.  Participation on that team will be based on the number of campers and at the coach’s discretion.

Grizzly Basketball Camp will run from 10AM- 12PM M/W/F from June 26- July 14. We will finalize details and create an email data base so that any further information can be directed from the coaching staff to the parents. And don’t be worried if you have vacation plans for part of the summer, or if they play other sports as well, because we want the kids to be as involved as possible (even if they miss some sessions!).

Camp Cost- $125 plus AAU fees (normally about $14). Cash or checks (made out to GBEF- memo boys basketball) accepted.

Campers receive their own Grizzly Gear reversible jersey and shorts, as well as a camp T-shirt.
