Shrine Tournament Skills Competition
June 2, 2016 – 06:00 PM
Gear up for the big game and have some fun! Mound City will once again be hosting a skills competition for ages 8-12, open to all teams participating in the Shrine Tournament. Registration will begin @ 5:00 pm. The event will include four stations: bunting, throws from home to second base, centerfield to home and a homerun derby. The cost is $3.00 per station or $10.00 for all stations. All proceeds will benefit the Keaser family with their recent loss. Contact Dalton Clapper for further information @ 740.641.4025.
2016 SHRINE TOURNAMENT BRACKETS

The 72nd Annual Licking County Shrine Tournament is right around the corner. Tournament play will begin June 4/5 and will continue each weekend, weather permitting until the Farm Championship on 6/28 and the Varsity Championship on 6/30.

Commisioner's Board Meeting get set for the new season!
The objective of Mound City Little League Inc. shall be to firmly implant in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage,and reverence, so they may become finer, stronger and happier youth and will grow into good, moral, healthy citizens.
Mound City Little League Inc. was established in 1951, the original ballpark in Newark and the finest organized little league ballpark in Licking County. Mound City offers a state of the art facility with eight onsite baseball and softball diamonds, instructional structured divisions beginning at age four and continuing to age eighteen. We are happy to also provide paved handicap & stroller friendly walkways, covered seating, large modern restrooms facilities, concession area, water fountains, playground, & ample parking. These amenities are anchored by a centrally located fieldhouse that houses the restroom facilities, directors office and concessions on the first level, and also showcases an upper level clubhouse which features a wrap-around viewing deck which overlooks the entire park.
We also host a number of tournaments including the elite "GRAND DADDY" of all little league tournaments, The Licking County Shrine Tournament, which has hosted 100 teams in a single tournament. The Memorial Tournament is also a class A, tournament open to both farm & varsity teams over the Memorial Day weekend.
In 2010 the Columbus Dispatch scoured the state of Ohio researching sport facilities, schools, and assorted leagues for a variety of information. Their findings indicate that Mound City Little League is the only facility in the state to offer no registration fees for all participants which has been the case for over 60 years.(Click here to read the Columbus Disptach Article from September 1, 2010)
