Welcome to the Home of Mt. Pleasant Soccer
September 12, 2015 – 08:30 AM
On October 29, 2014, Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Trooper George E. Hare, Jr. was seriously injured by a moving vehicle on State Route 119 while clearing debris from the highway. Trooper Hare sustained multiple injuries as a result. His rehabilitation will be for months, if not years, to come. To support Trooper Hare and also to bring much needed attention to the “Steer Clear” law that protects our emergency responders and road workers who risk so much on our roads and highways, please join us in a race to raise money and raise awareness for Trooper Hare and for the charities to which he remains committed.

Trooper Hare has been an important part of the soccer league and was a coach in the younger division before his accident. We made a decision to delay our opening weekend in hopes that people will attend this wonderful event. Our opening weekend will be on Saturday, September 19th.
A special thanks to all the coaches who attended the meeting for team selection. The teams have been formed. Your coach should be getting in touch with you this week to schedule practice. You can view the teams by clicking on the Players link on the left side of the page.
Coaches Background Clearance
All coaches and volunteers who will be working with the children of the club are required to obtain a background clearance BEFORE the start of the season. This certification will be good for 3years. There are a two $10 fees for the clearance, and the potential fee for the FBI clearance if you have not been a resident of PA for the past 10 years.
Click here to go to the PA West Risk Management Page and follow the directions. To begin the FBI clearance page click on the link on the risk management web page and then select PA Department of Welfare and follow the directions.
If you have had this completed for your employment then this documentation can be provided to the league for your clearance.
Please e-mail your completed clearances documents to email@example.com
