Partial Nationals Bid- Boston Camp
MSU Cheerleaders just won a partial paid bid to college nationals in Dayona Beach Florida. They won their divsion at camp in the rally routine competition, which led them to earning this partial bid! Congratulations to the Montclair State Cheerleaders!
ANYONE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR THE 2010-2011 CHEER TEAM SHOULD SEND A DVD THAT CAN BE VIEWED ON A COMPUTER AS WELL AS THE TRYOUT FORM ON THIS SITE TO COACH SHALKOWSKI AT MSUCHEERCOACH@GMAIL.COM. OR TO COACH SHALKOWSKI 56 ROBIN COURT, MIDDLETOWN, NEW JERSEY 07748-3239.
THE SKILLS TAPE SHOULD INCLUDE:
TUMBLING:
*standing and running
*all done on a flat floor
*if you are working any skills they may be done on the spring floor
JUMPS:
*toe touch (single and multiple)
*pike
*one other elite jump of your choice
STUNTING:
*Show your position with a single legged stunt and single or double down..(either flyer-back spot- or base show flying, or catching).
CHEER AND DANCE
*Short 30 second cheer and approximately 6-8 counts of dance
MSU placed 7th in All Girl Division III at NCA Nationals!! Great Job Ladies!
