JOHN CHEKOURAS YOUTH CLASSIC
What: Boys’ Basketball Tournament grades 4 – 8
Our tournament is now Invitational, with participating Boys programs entering all 10 A & B Teams for 4th through 8th Grade*

When: February 8th, 2020
Where: Homestead High School, Mequon, WI
Format: Each team guaranteed 3 game, All games played in one day
WIAA rules and WSICT rules apply,unless otherwise specified
7 minute Quarters, Clock stops on all whistles entire game
Concession stand will be available. Please no carry-ins
MTBA State Champions
MTBA is proud to recognize the two MTBA/Homestead teams that have captured the Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament. The Class of 2013 won the 2009 8th Grade, Division 1 tournament and the Class of 2016 won the 2011 7th Grade, Division 1 tournament. 2009 - 8th Grade State Champions
The MTBA/Homestead Class of 2013 won the 2009 8th Grade, Division 1 Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament with a 59 - 50 win over Sun Prairie in the semis and a 58 - 48 win over De Pere in the Championship Game. Team members included James Reilly, Ben Gaddour, Ben Binversie, Brett Geschke, Jake Laihinen, Tyler Gehrke, Sam Kaegi, Luke Worthington, Quinton Sampson-Wood and Mike Bradford. The team was coached by Jim Reilly and Scott Laihinen.
2011 - 7th Grade State Champions
The MTBA/Homestead Class of 2016 won the 2011 7th Grade, Division 1 Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament with a 37-35 win over Madison East in the semis and a 37 - 30 win over Hartland Arrowhead in the Championship Game. Back Row (L to R):
