FAST PITCH SOFTBALL PITCHING CLINIC
March 7, 2015 – 10:00 AM
Attention!! Pitching Clinic is tomorrow, Saturday March 7th. All girls 10U and 8U will go at same time 10:00am on Field 6. Hope to see you there!
Stacy Dunn, former University of Oklahoma pitcher, is offering two separate fast pitch softball pitching clinics on Saturday March 7th at the Medina Valley Youth Baseball and Softball Complex on Field 6. The camp for 10U and 8U age players will run from 10:00am till 12:00pm. This is a great opportunity for players, parents, and coaches to get a better understanding of this highly specialized skill. To view the 2015 Practice Schedule click on the link below. When more than one team is listed on a day, it is the responsibility of the coaches to coordinate the practice times. Teams listed have priority on the field noted. If you would like to practice on a Saturday or Sunday, you must contact the scheduled coach to work around their times. 2015 MVYBA PRACTICE SCHEDULE
MVYBA FIELDS AND FACILITIES
PER MVYBA POLICY, ALL MVYBA FIELDS AND FACILITIES ARE CLOSED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, SELECT TEAMS, AND NON REGISTERED MVYBA PLAYERS UNTIL AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE MVYBA ALL STAR SEASON IN LATE JULY. AT WHICH TIME NEW RULES AND PROCEDURES WILL BE PUT INTO PLACE REGARDING USAGE OF THE FIELDS AND FACILITIES.
2015 PONY BASEBALL BAT RULE CLARIFICATION
PONY Baseball has decided to rescind the new rule regarding legal bats for the 2015 season in the Pony Baseball Division (13-14 year olds). Bat rules in place for previous seasons will again be in place for the 2015 season. To clarify bat rules for all PONY Baseball age divisions: All minus 3 bats must be BBCOR certified. All bats, minus 5, minus 7, minus 9, etc are legal as long as they are not larger in diameter than 2 5/8" and are stamped with BPF 1.15 and the year manufactured.
