Who are North Carolina Wildcats Basketball Club,Inc.?
ORGANIZATIONAL GUIDE
The North Carolina Wildcats Basketball Club,Inc. is a non-profit organization that directs its' energy towards athletic achievement and academic excellence for our student-athletes.Our program is 100% volunteer based,and has teams that range from 9& under to 17& under age groups.The student-athletes that come through our program are from low-income households and communities.They excel athletically,but also need help staying focused academically.Our program is committed to helping young,talented student-athletes improve their academic prowess,as well as their individual basketball skills.
Our program offers academic assistance,as well as the opportunity to excel through athletic competition.Our volunteer coaches provide a positive atmosphere for our student-athletes.Academically,our program offer tutorial help for our student-athletes through our volunteer coaches,who are comprised mostly of current and/or former educators from the school systems throughout the Triangle area.They volunteer their time to coach our teams and help student-athletes stay focused academically.Our program also participates in other academic endeavors,as well as community events,special seminars and other positive activities.
Athletically,our program offers excellent coaching from our volunteer staff,who happen to be extremely knowledgeable,and have played and/or coached the game of basketball at a high level.Our program provides the student-athlete with the opportunity to play with and against the highest level of competition statewide and nationwide.Our teams regularly qualify for national tournaments for their age groups,which allows them to travel to other cities and towns inside and outside the state of North Carolina.Our program fosters fair play,sportsmanship and helps our student-athletes develop the leadership skills that are essential for them to succeed in life.
