Our Tee Ball level still has a few slots remaining for players age 5 and 6 years old.

The South Kingstown Elks Lodge, 60 Belmont Ave.,Wakefield will have the World Series trophy on display and open to the public on Friday April 25th from 11:30-1:30, it is also school vacation.
We will have a professional photographer set up for pictures with the trophy as well. The event is being put on by the Veterans Committee of the South Kingstown Elks Lodge, which is trying to raise awareness and donations for the Honor Flight Program that we support thru the Lodge that brings WWII veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the memorial. We are also raising money for our Jimmy Fund program.
We will have a ballpark theme with a concession stand for hot dogs and hamburgers as well as some raffle prizes as well. If there are families looking to donate, we will have donation buckets there. Most of the members have been donating 5 dollars to get the fund going.
The photographer will have all pictures avai
lable on his website and is donating to the program with proceeds from the pictures. I hope all can attend and enjoy a great opportunity to see some baseball history.
Narragansett Parks and Recreation will be tallying the results of a very successful and well attended Pitch Hit and Run Event.
Winners will be announced soon
and also posted on our website by May 3rd, 2014.
Winners each each area for each age group and gender, will advance to the state level at McCoy Stadium on May 10th!!!

The Red Sox are going to be having a Youth Baseball Day at Fenway Park.
On Sunday, May 4th they will be having a pre-game parade for players and coaches around the warning track.
There is a VERY LIMITED number of tickets available for Sunday, May 4th.
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.
