2016-17 Winter Season Tryouts

October 18, 2016


Boy's Junior Division

Monday October 24th at Birchwood Middle School

6:30pm - 10 Year Olds

7:30pm - 11 & 12 Year Olds

Notes: 1. This is for all new players for this division and tryout is mandatory.

            2. Please contact Jeff Acciaioli, Player Agent with any questions.

Boy's Senior Division

Tuesday October 25th at Birchwood Middle School at 7pm

Notes: 1. This tryout is MANDATORY for ALL players (returning and new) as the Senior Division will be redrafted again this season.

           2. Please contact Ray Cloutier, Player Agent with any questions. 

Instructional A Division

Friday October 28th at Birchwood Middle School

7pm - 8 & 9 Year Olds (Grades 3 & 4)


All players who need to tryout will receive an email by10/21/16 as a reminder. Tryout dates are posted above.

No tryouts required for Instructional B Division.

Registration for Girl's Division is continuing until end of October. Contact Frank Kiser if you have any questions.

2016 Winter Online Signups are Open

North Providence Youth Basketball Association's online signups for the 2016-17 winter season will continue to day of a said player's division. tryouts which are posted above. The Girl's and Instructional B Divisions will continue until end of October.

In order to play in our league all players must be between the ages of 5 -15 years old and be a resident of the Town of North Providence. We offer a co-ed Instructional B Division for ages 5-7, a co-ed Instructional A Division for ages 8 and 9, a Boy's Junior Division for ages 10-12, a Girl's Senior Division for ages 10-15, and a Boy's Senior Division for ages 13-15.

Volunteer Coaches Needed

Volunteer coaches are needed for the 2016 -17 NPYBA Basketball Season. If you are interested in becoming a coach please fill out the online form and obtain a copy of your BCI from the RI Attorney Generals office and forward a copy to Frank Kiser.
