Indoor Scrimmages
The indoor scrimmages are back.2nd Set10U - December 12th 14U - December 13th 12U - December 19th
- Each team will play three games
- Each team will also have use of the batting cage and hitting stations.
- Cost will be only $85 per team. That's less than $8 per player!!!!
We have plenty of seating and a concession area for snacks and drinks. These were popular last year because they are very cost effective and offer a stress-free atmosphere where you can teach while you play. Letter from The Ohio Wave Officer's Board
Parents,
The Ohio Wave now has a board of members to oversee the organization activities such as fees, uniforms, helmets and other things. Last year our organization ran into issues with player fees not being paid in a timely manner and in some instances some were not paid at all. This is something that is very difficult to handle when the last tournament of the year comes up and you have players who have not paid their fees and now your team might be faced with not participating in the tournament your daughter has look forward to for so long. As a result, the board has agreed to not let this happen again this year. It is unfair to you, your daughter(s) who have worked hard all year to participate in every tournament your coach has budgeted for.
So if you have paid your first commitment fee, "Thank You."
If you have not paid your first commitment fee you have two options:
Option 1:
Pay the first commitment fee to your coach or by pay pal on our web site by November 19th.
Or option 2:
Let your coach know that you will need to set up some kind of payment plan.
If neither happens by the next Ohio Wave board meeting on 11/19 your daughter(s) will be removed from her/their team roster.
We understand that in today’s economic world sometimes it is very tough coming up with the extra cash, but we have to be fair to the families who have paid their fee’s already.

TANEL SPORTS PACKAGE
Tanel Sports would like to outfit the Ohio Wave with a pretty nice sports package. This package would included their high quality batting gloves, shatterproof polarized sport sunglasses, oversized wheeled equipment bag and best of all their highly rated softball cleats. The cost per player would be $80. This is a great deal for some quality gear. This package is well over $200 with everything (I was informed the bag alone is $120 retail) but we would be using the budgeted money for standard bat bags to make up the difference. We are well aware of the economic conditions for everybody, so, may opt out of this offer if you choose. You will receive a standard Ohio Wave shoulder bat bag.
Please visit the online spread sheet to enter your shoe size. We need to provide Tanel with a rough idea of shoe sizes so they can plan their production. We will have the opportunity to re-verify sizes in Jan/Feb in case your kid has went through a growth spurt. If you chose to opt out please indicate so in the “opt out” column. However, be sure this is what you want to do. This is a great deal for the equipment and cleats Tanel is offering us.

Ohio Wave 2010 Officers Board
The Ohio Wave Officers Board has been busy with uniforms, finances, equipment, etc. We are still looking for team representatives from Dave Fisherback's 12U team and Rich Rosinski's 16U team. We will be sampling uniforms next Thursday at our next meeting. Please contact me if you are interested in participating on the board.
