In 2010 Alex Miller Founded Out Of The Park and began the journey of the Cyclones. With competitive AAU teams ranging from 13u to 18u, Cyclones travel around the East Coast to represent the talent of Out Of The Park. The program practices in training for the next level of baseball, whether it's High School or College. The teams are coached by former college baseball players and present High School coaches.
What sets the Cyclones apart from the average team is the variety of activity that goes into a practice. Each player is video analyzed of activity that goes into practice. Each player is video analyzed in order to watch form, technique and make the necessary improvements. The physical training of a Cyclone is constant, beginning with pre-season. The average practice involves hitting and throwing in the cages, and the coaches will use our classroom to watch videos and review specific concepts to the players for the mental part of the game. Practice finiishes up with an intense speed and agility work out in our training room.
During the season Out Of The Park ventures to tournaments beginning Memorial Day weekend and continue until the last weekend of July. Our older team, 18u, gets involved in showcase tournaments to showcase their skills to colleges, and to better prepare them for college. The Cyclones believe in the perfect game and nothing less, which leads them to an array of accomplishments.
In 2011 the 13u team went 46-10, won two tournamnets and the league. In 2012 the 14u team won the Spring and Fall League, as well as a two time runner up in a 20 team tournament. In 2013 the 14u and 15u teams won the USABL Spring League. Also in 2013, the 15u team won the 16u North Wall Tournament and Runner up in LBI Tournament also Shared a 35-10 record as a 15/16 in the summer and 18u team in the Fall.
Out Of The Park houses not only talented baseball players, but a true sense of dedicated athleticism. The Cyclones live and breathe teamwork and never give up, which sets us apart from the rest.
