YOUR BASKETBALL ACTIVITY DIARY

OXFORD SPIRES ACADEMY, home of Oxford City HOOPS Basketball Club
Remains closed as although the Floor has been changed in full, "Oxford Spires Academy / Fusion Lifestyle" 
forgot to raise the Baskets 2 inches to match the increase of the Floor.
The School nor Fusion Lifestyle is able to provide with a Date of when we will return "HOME".
This has resulted in our training sessions and games being disturbed, we totally apologise for the inconvenience and 
extra costs incurred, but there is little we can do as a Club.  Fusion says it is the School's responsibility, we as a Club and client of Fusion Lifestyle are NOT allow to speak to the School directly.  The world we live in !  On GOD can work this out.

THE ATHLETES' DIET ..

It is very hard for young athletes to eat what the need as many times as they need it when they rely on working parents to prepare and produce the food. So, FIRST, let's learn how to cook! Check out the millions of youtube videos available.

NEVER rely on somebody else to FEED your body!

MALE ATHLETES ..
Keep your body trim, have increased energy and boost Testosterone to help you be more competitive and become stronger, build muscle and increase fat burning.

AM Snack: Oat Cookies x 2 with Coffee/Tea/water
Breakfast: 2-3 Eggs ... However you like them or Fortified Cereal with Orange Juice (NOT Concentrated)
Mid Morning: Fruit (Whatever you like - Apples / Pomegranate)
Lunch: Meat (Tuna, Chicken, Beef or Lamb) Lean, Grilled or Shallow fried (very little oil), Season to taste, Good quality carb (Rice or Yuca/Cassava, Pasta at a push), Salad or Vegs.
Mid Afternoon: Selection of Nuts (without Raisins or chocs) a Handful.
Dinner: Meat (Tuna, Chicken, Beef or Lamb) Lean, Grilled or Shallow fried (very little oil), Season to taste with Salad or Vegs.
Post Workout: High Quality Protein Shake with Water or Skimmed Milk only 200ml to 250ml.


Try to eat BEANS (White, Kidney & Black), Shellfish (Crab, Lobster, etc ..). Replace Sugar with Honey. Eat Cabbage with your salad. 

dRINK PLENTY of WATER !!!

Ensure you take Days off for total rest.

Avoid ALL READY MADE MEALS & SNACKS... they are poison to your body!
