Powers Volleyball Club (PVC) is an elite Jacksonville area club lead by Coach Sarah Powers.  Coach Powers (a former National and Pro volleyball player) shares her volleyball expertise, knowledge, and 25+ years of coaching experience with club participants.  PVC is a competitive program dedicated to teaching and fostering the athletic development of youth through the pursuit of excellence in volleyball, and encouraging a sense of community throughout the Club.

PVC is focused on:

  • Enhancing fundamental skill through repetition
  • Enforcing the value of team building on and off the court
  • Providing one-on-one guidance to college bound players to increase their exposure to college recruiters

PVC was created in 2013.  We started with 2 teams consisting of 16 girls only.  In 2013-2014 we grew to have 8 teams.  This season we have 14 club teams that include Nationals, Regionals and Local teams.  Practices are being held in 2 convenient locations: PVC (14175 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32250, behind Sun Tire) and UC (5520 University Blvd W, Jacksonville, FL 32216).  We are really excited about the 2015 season.  We have many talented coaches and athletes who would represent the PVC family perfectly this year.

At PVC, we offer multiple training programs suitable for the beginners, intermediate, or advanced volleyball players.
