We are in NEED of NEW volunteers to serve on the PRGSL Board for future seasons. We will be accepting nominations for the following positions from today through June 5th with elections being held June 6th at our monthly board meeting. President- 1 year term to be appointed by current President and voted in by current board* (vacated early)
Vice President- 2 year term
Treasurer- 2 year term
Coaches Agent- 2 year term
Field Manager- 2 year term
Umpire In Chief- 1 year term to be appointed by President and voted in by current board* (vacated early)
1.13 Terms of Office: The term of office for each position shall be two (2) years and each position can be re-elected. Elections are to be rotated by odd and even years (based on the year of the season during which the election is held) to avoid a 100% turnover. Nominations for vacating offices will be held in May. The new officers will be elected in June and begin their duties at the August meeting of the same year. Even years- President, Umpire in Chief, Secretary, Players Agent, and Equipment Manager. Odd years- Vice President, Treasurer, Coaches Agent, and Field Manager.
Committee Members shall serve for a term of 1 year
1.14 Vacancy on the Board:
A. Board Office: If a vacancy occurs on the Board, the position is to be filled on a temporary basis within fifteen (15) days through appointment by the President. A person to complete the term of the vacated Board position will be confirmed by a 2/3 majority vote of the board. This vote is to take place within 60 days from the date of the appointment of the interim person.
B. Appointed Member: If an appointed position becomes vacant, the position is to be filled on a temporary basis within fifteen (15) days through appointment by the President. A person to complete the term of the vacated Appointed Member position will be confirmed by a majority vote of the Board. This vote is to take place within sixty (60) days from the date of appointment of the interim person.
