Rhode Island Cyclones AAU Basketball
The Rhode Island Cyclones have emerged into a premier AAU basketball organization and continue to grow leaps and bounds. The Cyclones Basketball Organization strives to provide our young athletes with technical and clinical instruction in the art of playing a “Team Concept” form of basketball. We pride ourselves in developing quality teams and we enter them in the top tournaments in the Northeast. Our teams and players are provided with ample opportunity to be exposed to college programs and coaches and we encourage them to shoot for the next level.
The Rhode Island Cyclones accept young men and women from across the state of Rhode Island, as well as Southeastern Connecticut and Southeastern Massachusetts. The Cyclones spring program begins in March and ends in late June. All Cyclones players are AAU registered. Teams will compete in tournaments across New England and some will travel to New York. Players interested in joining teams should complete the registration form below. Completed forms should be emailed to Ron Patalano at Rpatalano@rwpzoo.org.
About Us:
The Rhode Island Lady Cyclones have become more and more recognized in the region with each passing year. Our competitive teams have demonstrated the ability to play with the top rated teams in the area. We are intent on exposing our players to the top tournaments that are available and to Division 1, 2 and 3 college coaches.
2017 will be an inaugural year for Cyclones Boy's Basketball. We will now accept registrations for our Boys Basketball Program.
The Rhode Island Cyclones would like to acknowledge the contributions of Coach Bob Mattley in the original formation of the Rhode Island Lady Cyclones and the development of our program and coaching philosophies.
