INFORMATION FOR NEW COACHES
New coaches/parents to the soccer association may find this document helpful in starting the new season. Its the Rules of Play as posted by the KVSL (Kanawha Valley Soccer League). Click for RULES OF PLAY
On May 29, 2010 the Sissonville Soccer Association dedicated the fields to long-time soccer coach Ted Hudson in recognition of his commitment to youth soccer in our community. The upper and lower fields will be called “Hudson Field” in his honor. Ted had coached soccer teams in Sissonville for many years and over the past two years he coached while fighting the debilitating effects of cancer. Ted was an inspiration to players, coaches, and parents. He always went the extra mile to enhance and improve the soccer program for the kids. Sadly, Ted lost his battle with cancer on June 14, 2010. By naming the fields after him we will always remember his contribution and dedication to youth soccer in Sissonville.
