RUTGERS CERTIFICATION COURSE @ THE SPJBC

Any coach or assistant coach needs to be R.U.T.G.E.R.S Safety Certified in order to coach in any South Plainfield youth sports programs. This course is also open to coaches from out of town, also.
The class will be held on Tuesday night, March 31, 2015. You must be pre-registered to attend the course by March 24, 2015.
Check-in begins at 6:45PM and the class starts promptly at 7:00PM. Once the class has started, no one is allowed in. The class will be held in the clubhouse on Kenneth Avenue. This is a three (3) hour course. All attendees are required to stay for the entire course for certification.
The cost of the class is $35.00 per person for non-South Plainfield residents. Checks are payable to: SPJBC. Class size is limited so send in your form today. You must be pre-registered to attend the course by March 24, 2015. There is no cost to any South Plainfield volunteer youth sports coaches, who will coach in South Plainfield. Proof of South Plainfield residency is required at time of class. Anyone without proof of residency will be required to pay the full registration fee.

Open to the following age groups: 9U, 10U (46/60), 12U(50/70) and 13U (60/90).

LADIES AUXILIARY NEXT MEETING
The South Plainfield Junior Baseball Club (SPJBC) Women’s Auxiliary (WA) is an organization that creates and implements all fundraising for the SPJBC.
We run clothing sales, and 50/50’s and one of our largest fundraisers is the Calendar raffle. The Women’s Auxiliary assists in the coordination of evaluations at the PAL, SPJBC Opening Day festivities, Snack stand sign-ups, Teener ball night, Memorial Day and Father’s Day tournaments amongst other events.
Over the course of the past 5 years, some of the items we have purchased for the club included Foul poles on all 3 fields, picnic tables and umbrellas for the complex and a batting cage for Field 3. The most recent contribution was towards the new playground set for the baseball club along with new batting cage mats and backstops for the 4 fields. Our current fundraising efforts are focused on purchasing new bleachers around the complex.
ALL proceeds go directly back to our children at the baseball club.
As the Women’s Auxiliary starts up again for 2015, we will meet every 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in the SPJBC clubhouse. We are currently seeking new members and we look forward to your participation.
