The South Plainfield Junior Baseball Club (SPJBC ) Women’s Auxiliary (WA) is an organization that creates and implements all fundraising for the SPJBC.
We run clothing sales, and 50/50’s and one of our largest fundraisers is the Calendar raffle. The Women’s Auxiliary assists in the coordination of evaluations at the PAL, SPJBC Opening Day festivities, Snack stand sign-ups, Teener ball night, Memorial Day and Father’s Day tournaments amongst other events. Over the course of the past 5 years, some of the items we have purchased for the club included: Foul poles on all 3 fields, picnic tables and umbrellas for the complex and a batting cage for Field 3. Our current fundraising efforts are focused on purchasing new bleachers around the complex. ALL proceeds go directly back to our children at the baseball club.
As the Women’s Auxiliary starts up again for 2013, we will meet every 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the SPJBC clubhouse. Please mark your calendars for the April 9th, May 14th and June 11th meetings, etc. We are currently seeking new members ~ we look forward to your participation!
The SPJBC-WA is a great way to get involved at the baseball club. We encourage everyone to attend the meetings to see what the Women’s Auxiliary is all about.
