The results from the First Annual Sticks and Biscuits Thanksgiving Day 5K are now posted for all to see! Sorry for the long and anticipated wait for the results, we apologize for any inconvenience. Click on the link above to see the times for all age groups, both male and female.
“Our sincere apologies for the delay in posting the 1st Annual Sticks & Biscuits Thanksgiving Day 5K results. This being our first year, we had a lot to learn. Our committee has decided to go “electronic” next year. We will be switching from gun time to chip time in an effort to have accurate and quick results. On behalf of the Palmyra Ice Hockey Club, thank you for participating in the First Annual “Sticks & Biscuits Thanksgiving Day 5K”. Your participation will go a long way in supporting Palmyra community children.
Ice hockey is not a PIAA recognized sport, and does not receive funding from the school district. Therefore, players’ families are responsible for baring all the expenses associated with the sport (ice time, equipment, coaches and referee fees, and travel expenses). Ice time alone is upwards of $20,000 per season.
Due to this expense coupled with the small size of our community, the Palmyra Ice Hockey Club’s roster is smaller than most of our competitors. Our goal is to
afford every child who wants to play ice hockey the opportunity to participate and have competitive teams in doing so .

We have added our Course Map. The race will begin at Klick Lewis "On the Ice" Arena and will end at the Paramount Sports Complex.
