The St. Martins Gun Club was started in 1980 with a lot of help from those who would become members and members from other clubs.

Official  approval by the Province was granted Dec. 2nd, 1982

Henry Schubert was a driving force with help from Bob Saunders and John McCarthy of the Saint John Police Force.
