First Win of the 2015 Season! Congratulations to the 13U Storm winning the All Nighter in Hershey!
February 28, 2015
A great way to kick off the season and represent Sykesville and our travel baseball program. The 13U Storm won their first (and our first) tournament of the year at the "In the Net" complex in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The boys (led by Coach Chris Poe) played all night, and came from behind in each game with exceptional pitching and hitting to beat teams from PA and NY on their way to first place. Congratulations guys!
The 10U Cyclones believe teamwork off the field is as important as teamwork on the field. Recently they partnered with "Operation Welcome Home".(http://www.operationwelcomehomemd.org/), an organization that greets new troops coming home from serving in the Middle East through BWI Airport. These troops are tired, hungry, and feeling pretty alone as they get off one plane only to get back on another plane to make the rest of their journey home to see their loved ones in person.
Congratulations to the Winners of the 5th Annual Halloween Wood Bat Tournament

Continued Success for our 12U Cyclones
Another great weekend for our 12U Cyclones as they continue to rack up tournament success. They were just one run short in the finals and placed second in a very talented field in the Elkridge Stars and Strikes Tournament. After a first round loss and seeding 10th... great pitching and defense carried them undefeated into the championship. This is a team that won't give up, by example - they sent HCYP home in the quaterfinals after being down 4-1 heading into the last inning. Congratulations guys!

Congratulations to the 12U Cyclones for winning the USSSA Mother's Day Madness tournament in Germantown. This was a pure team effort with every player contributing at the plate and in the field. While they fell behind in each game, they showed the fortitude to come back and keep winning until the USSSA rings were on their fingers.
