Four 17U Cyclones Sign Letters of Intent
The 17U Cyclones and Head Coach Dwayne Parris are excited to announce that his first round of graduating seniors have all committed to being student-athletes at the collegiate level next year! Coach Parris, Coach Smoot and Coach Lamb are very proud of these young men and all of their accomplishments!
Ethan Kiple (Century High School) - Ethan joined the Cyclones beginning the 13U season. Another effective player, Ethan brought a hot bat and pitching swag to the mound each year. Hats off to Ethan for committing to play this fall for Harford Community College – they are lucky to have you. Go Owls!
William (Billy) Scanlon (Westminster High School) - A gem of an addition, Billy moved from the Storm to the Cyclones at 10U and has been a great asset. You can find him protecting the corners and the mound each year for the Cyclones. His hard work and dedication to the sport have paid off; Billy has committed to play at DeSales University in Pennsylvania. Go Bulldogs!
Trent Smoot (Liberty High School) - This will be Trent’s tenth (10th) season playing Sykesville Travel for Coach Parris and is a part of the “original five” that have played for Parris since the days of Sykesville T-Ball. While Trent has played various positions with the Cyclones, he has come in clutch as the Cyclones catcher. Congratulations to Trent for committing to play baseball at Stevenson University. Go Mustangs!
Trevor Smoot (Liberty High School) - Trevor is also proud to be a part of Coach Parris’ “original five.” Trevor has been a successful center fielder, infielder and pitcher as a Cyclone. He will continue to see the infield and the mound playing for Catonsville Community College. Go Cardinals!
