The Troy Youth Association, Inc (CYO) is a non-profit charitable organization 509(a)(1) & 170(b)(1)(A)(vi), serving the community of Troy and also with programs throughout the Capital District. We are also listed as a Charitable Organization with the State of New York ID# 61891.
We are always accepting charitable donations which are tax exempt. All contributions can be sent to the agency address, PO box 867, 237 4th Street, Troy, NY 12181
Troy Youth Association, Inc, incorporated May 3, 1977. Formally known as the Troy Catholic Youth Organization which was established in 1952 and housed at the current equipment house overlooking Catholic Central HS Football Field. The agency was moved to its current location in 1968 (Old LaSalle Institute Gym) at 237 Fourth Street.
Mission Statement
The Mission Statement of the organization is to foster and develop the cultural, moral and physical well-being of youth and adults; to nurture and aid sound programs in developing character.

AGENCY PROGRAM SUMMARY
1. After School Child Care
a. Serving 35-40 children daily
b. Affordable fees for low-income families ($30wk)
c. Been in existence since 1984
d. Programs include: Tutorial Aid, gym, game room, crafts, special tiny tot area and computer lab
2. Summer Day Camp
a. Eight week program (last week basketball fundamental program)
b. Serving 55-60 children daily
c. Red Cross Certified Learn to Swim Program
d. Traveling Camp
e. Been in existence since 1965
3. Teenage Program
a. Basketball Leagues, includes practices, etc
b. Serving 35-40 youth nightly
c. Been in existence since 1965
d. Programs include; Organized basketball,Drug awareness programs
4. Challenger Program and Area Wide Basketball Leagues
a. Challenger program has 45 participants playing once a week at the Center. The challenger program involves youth with disabilities organized and supervised by adult volunteers.
b. The Center and area wide basketball program involves 8 teams from the Agency and 28 leagues from the Capital District all organized by the agency.
c. The leagues total some 2100 youth and adults during the program period.

After School Child Care
After School Child Care program info:
$30 weekly fee or $10 per day
Activities include: Homework Aid, Gym program, Game Room, Crafts and more.

After School Child Care Program (Licensed)
The Troy Youth Association (CYO) After School Child Care program is a registered program by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (Registration ID# 00529776SACC. Effective dates: 5/16/13-5/15/17.

Seven week program
Starting June 24th thru August 9th
Cost: $85 weekly for one child, $75 for all others
EARLY BIRD SPECIAL:
Submit application by May 24th and receive $10 off each session per child
Early Care and Late Care available:
$30 for both EC/LC or $15 for just one
Activities include:
Daily trips to the State parks in the area, Red Cross Certified swim lessons, field trips to Howe Caverns, Lake George, Fun Park in Queensbury, movies, full gym program, crafts, computers, game room and much more.
