20th Annual AGI Fundraiser
DUE TODAY! (8/26)
Delivery is now September 23rd.
As stated in the Parent Handbook...minimum sell is 10 items or $70 total.
Forms were handed out for the graduating midgets to fill out and a special Well wish form for the parents to fill out. The FINAL deadline is TONIGHT August 27th. You can turn them into your Midget coaches or see Kim Davis or Alissa Nelson during practices. If you need an additional form please do not hesitate to see Alissa or Kim asap.
The Well Wishes book is available at the snack bar during practices for your messages until Friday August 29th! These messages are always a favorite in the programs. Each message costs only $2. You write whatever you'd like up to 15 words and can even choose a special football or cheer decal for your message. You can post for your child, the squad, the coach, another squad, a sibling, a grandchild, the Skies the limit! It's a great way to cheer your lil ones on and remember the 2014 season!
Our amazing Programs Director has another way for you to help Tri Town and be fashionable while at it!! She has specials for the 31 Spirit Collection!!! Order forms are at the snack bar as well. Feel Free to spread to the word to anyone you know who would be interested. Orders will be accepted until September 5th. Any questions please do not hesitate to ask Alissa Nelson.
As many of you know, our Tri-Town family has lost a significant piece of our organization. Our Vice President, Matt Derk, passed away on July 28th. Some very quick decisions were made about practices right away and we understand that many were confused and upset about the way information was getting out. Our first priority was to look out for the privacy of his wife and children. We have all been busy with helping and preparing things for this week and haven’t communicated as effectively as some may have wished. Please know that this was not our intention and things will begin to run smoothly as soon as we all have time to process what has happened.
Padded practices will start for football players on Aug. 4th. Cheer coaches have contacted their squads with practice information. We will have grief counselors available at the field beginning at 5pm to talk to any parent or athlete. Our coaches also plan to address this with each of their teams. We, as an organization, believe that honesty is the best policy. Some very tough subjects will be addressed at an age appropriate level. Please speak with your child before practice on Monday. If you do not wish for your child to participate or hear from your head coach, please keep your child home from practice on Monday.
This is a very difficult time for many of us. Most of us have never had to deal with something like this and we are doing our best to be respectful and appropriate to everyone involved. The outpouring of love and support for Kristy and the boys has been incredible. Through this difficult time, Tri-Town has proven to us once again that it’s not just a football field, but a family.
Please continue to respect the privacy of the family and allow them time to process and grieve all that has taken place.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1pm Saturday, August 2nd at William E. Little Funeral Homes (2150 Carlisle Road, Shiloh). Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hunter and Hayden Derk Education Fund, c/o Metro Bank, 2100 York Crossing Drive, York, PA 17408.

We are looking for Committee Volunteers!!
Our Programs Director, Alissa Nelson, will be heading a Sponsorship Committee to come up with ideas to obtain sponsors for the 2014 season.
We are also creating a Security Committee. We are also looking for someone to step up and lead this committee. For now if you are interested please contact Gino Gregory.

AUGUST GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Our next General Membership Meeting of the year will be held on AUGUST 28TH @ 8PM. Our meeting location has changed and they will now be held at the Dover Community Center. Please mark your calendars and plan on attending. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Please Note that at this meeting we will be hosting our vote for the Tri Town changes. If you would like your opinion heard and to have a vote, please plan to attend.
Attendance is mandatory for the February, May, and August GMM's if you would like to participate in voting for the 2015 executive board and directors that is held in November. A sign in sheet will be at the meeting and our secretary keeps a record of those who attend.

The Mandatory Coaches meeting is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 8 am. It is located at Sacred Heart Parish Center at 1031 Sprenkle Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362.
Directions: Route 30W to left onto Route 116, follow towards Spring Grove. At the light (Hardee's, Rite-Aid, Aplus gas station) make a left and it is on the left.
