Mandatory Parent Meeting

On Wednesday, August 6, at 6pm we will be holding our mandatory parent meeting at the bleachers. We will be discussing the Handbook and some important TriTown news. One parent of each cheerleader or player is required to attend. Since it will be a full house, you may want to consider bringing a chair for along side the bleachers. 

 

 

 

SURVEY

 

The survey has being closed early.

The survey was created to gather membership opinions regarding changes that have been proposed; however, some folks have chosen to NOT use the survey for this purpose.

We usually prefer information, such as this, be shared at the General Membership Meetings held each month. But, attendance has been light over the spring and early summer months.

Information is shared, and discussion occurs, regarding current activities, changes, etc. at Tri-Town during the General Membership Meetings; if you don't attend, you don't get the information and makes it difficult to join in the discussions. It is understood that work schedules can, and do, interfere with attending the meetings; you can also read the meeting minutes posted on this website to acquaint your self with the discussions and then email, text or reach out to any member of the board to offer your insite and opinions, or ask questions.

The discussion was opened during the April 2014 General Membership Meeting regarding changes that are intended to solidify the relationship between the Dover School's Football Program and TTBC; the discussion was tabled to allow more time for information to be gathered and for more fact finding to occur. The discussion could have been reopened and voted on at the June General Membership Meeting (would likely have passed, attendance in June was just enough to reach a quorum for voting), but it was agreed by those present that more time should be allowed for discussion, fact finding and membership input.

There will be more rational adult discussion, more information will be shared, ideas exchanged etc. and a vote is likely to occur before the end of the 2014 season, perhaps as soon as the July or August General Membership Meeting. Attending the General Membership Meetings will be the best way to contribute to the discussion. If you have facts and ideas to share...please do so at the meeting.

The survey responses of In Favor or Against are very close to 50-50. More details of the survey will be discussed at the General Membership Meeting.

General Membership Meetings are held each month, details can always be found on this website, please attend.

 

 

 

 

The Mandatory Coaches meeting is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 8 am. It is located at Sacred Heart Parish Center at 1031 Sprenkle Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362.

Directions: Route 30W to left onto Route 116, follow towards Spring Grove. At the light (Hardee's, Rite-Aid, Aplus gas station) make a left and it is on the left.

Our 2nd Annual Meet the Team Night is scheduled for Friday, August 15th from 6-8 at our field. Player/Cheerleader report time at 5:30.

If you would like to help out we are having our first Recreation Committee meeting Thursday August 7th at 6:30 under the pavilion.

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2014 SEASON IS STILL OPEN!!

Please click on the link at the top of the welcome screen or on the registrations tab in the menu on the left to register your football player or cheerleader. Payments can be made online or mailed to our treasurer, Susan Cunningham.

Please keep in mind that football players must be registered by the mandatory camps later this month.

CHEER SMURF SQUAD

(Cheerleaders ages 4 - 7)

The Cheer Smurf Squad is now closed, we will no longer accept registrations for the Cheer Smurf Squad!

We are looking for Committee Volunteers!! 

Our Programs Director, Alissa Nelson, will be heading a Sponsorship Committee to come up with ideas to obtain sponsors for the 2014 season. 

We are also creating a Security Committee. We are also looking for someone to step up and lead this committee. For now if you are interested please contact Gino Gregory.

Are you interested in Running the Clock or Announcing at our home games? Know someone that is? We're looking for you! Please contact our AD Gino Gregory.

Cristy Peyton is looking for ideas for a Tri Town Signature Dish for the 2014 season. If you have any ideas or would like to see something in the snack bar, contact her and let her know.

AUGUST GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

 

Our next General Membership Meeting of the year will be held on AUGUST 28TH @ 8PM. Our meeting location has changed and they will now be held at the Dover Community Center. Please mark your calendars and plan on attending. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Please Note that at this meeting we will be hosting our vote for the Tri Town changes. If you would like your opinion heard and to have a vote, please plan to attend. 

Attendance is mandatory for the February, May, and August GMM's if you would like to participate in voting for the 2015 executive board and directors that is held in November. A sign in sheet will be at the meeting and our secretary keeps a record of those who attend.
