like to invite you to the 2012-13
Tryouts for Competitive/Travel
Teams (AASL-Boys/NOGSL-Girls).
What is competitive (travel) soccer compared to recreational soccer?
Recreational soccer teams allow new players to develop. The focus is on having fun, learning, and playing time is equal. Travel/Competitive soccer teams... focus on challenging players to develop higher level ability and techniques. Teams play similiar ability teams from other communities; playing time is not required to be equal.
Why are Vermilion Soccer Club and South Amherst-Firelands United Soccer Association working together?
Both soccer clubs are committed to having teams in Lorain County Soccer League and to having competitive soccer available to their players. In order to do this, we have agreed to work together to form competitive teams. All teams will be Vermilion/Firelands teams.
Tryouts are:
Monday May 21st
6-7 pm U8-U10
7-8:30 pm U11-U14
Goalie tryout : 7-8pm
Tuesday May 22nd
6-7 pm U8-U10
7-8:30 pm U11-U14
Goalie tryout: 7-8pm
Wednesday May 30th
6-7pm U8-U10
7-8:30 pm U11-U14

What to Bring?
Bring a ball & drink to each day of tryouts. Forms will be available at the tryouts to fill out for each player. Please bring a copy of each players birth certificate and a small picture

The Vermilion Soccer Club Needs Your Help
The Vermilion Soccer Club needs your help. You don't have to be a coach to help. We need help working the snack shack and lining fields. Also anyone can come to the general meetings and give ideals. If you have been to 2 general meetings before November elections you can run for a Board Position. If you want to help or have any questions please email the club at vermiionsoccerclub@yahoo.com
