Big Red Announces

2013 Schedule

(UPDATED MAR. 2013)

Vista High Football Head Coach Dan Williams announced the 2013 Football Schedule and it’s another challenging campaign in which every opponent the Panthers will face was a playoff participant in 2012, including 2 CIF-SDS Champions.  The schedule is highlighted by games with CIF-SDS Division 1 Champion Eastlake and CIF-SDS Division 2 Champion Oceanside.  The Pirates finished as the Number 1 rated team in the San Diego Section for 2012.  It was recently announced that the Game 1 opponent/site has been changed.  Vista will square off against Southern Section Southeast Division Finalist La Serna (Whittier).  The Lancers have been Division Finalist that last 2 seasons and finished 12-2 last year with an impressive 38-9 win over SoCal Powerhouse Westlake.  Big Red will take on the La Serna at Cathedral Catholic High School in the season opening Football Challenge (more info to follow)
