We are absolutely thrilled to be able to kick off our new 2014 football season! This year has presented a series of challenges that, while difficult, has demonstrated the resilience of this organization.
Our Town and our school district has been instrumental in helping us find a temporary home for practices and Wappingers Junior High School is where will spend our 2014 practice season. We will continue to play our home games at Van Wyck Junior High School, and we'll have our field ready for 2015 at Robinson Lane East.
We look forward to again making the Town of Wappinger proud due to the hard work and outstanding achievements of our athletes!

As we move into our fifth year as an organization, we remain strongly focused on the area of safety in our football and cheer program. In 2014, an even greater emphasis will be placed on developing our coaches and volunteers as we continue to take the safety of your children very seriously. We work hard to strengthen our knowledge of the most current and safest ways to teach our boys and girls each sport.
As a member of the AYF/AYC Big East Region, we are blessed to compete against some of the strongest competition in the country in both Cheer and Football - the very same competition our athletes will compete against when they begin playing at the high school level. This includes teams from towns such as Brewster, Carmel, Cross River, Hudson Valley, Mahopac, Somers, Southern Dutchess and Yorktown.
As we move forward with our preparation for the 2014 season, we would like to thank all the volunteers that have committed to the success of our organization. Your desire to see that our children get the best possible experience in youth sports is greatly appreciated by all. The Wappingers Falls Indians will be fielding 7 football teams this season: Flag (ages 5-7), 79ers (Grades 2-3), 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade and for Cheer: Tiny Mites (grades K-1), Mitey Mites (grades 2-3), Division 10 (grades 4-5), Division 12 (grades 6-7) and Division 15 (grades 8-10). We are excited about the growth of our program and in particular, the opportunity it gives us to watch our participants improve in all aspects of their young lives.
