Sign-ups for the 2017 WBFL season will start again on July 5th and run Monday thru Thursday from 6-730 at John Bishop Park main shelter house until July 28th. The cost this year is $120 with a built in fundraiser. Each child will receive $20 in raffle tickets to sell and will keep the $20 raised. For any that have any questions as to the fee increase the league is attempting to meet a goal of a complete overhaul of all Helmets to Riddell Air in 4 years and All shoulder pads in 5 years. Last year we outfitted the Senior division with the Air helmets, and anticipate the Junior division this year and 20-25% of the shoulder pads this season.Our participation in the Mini-OCC last year was fun and will only get better as we get through the adjustment period of playing some games away from Whitehall. The mini-OCC signed a deal with Under Armor and will have Under apparel sites made up for each city to buy specific Whitehall Under Armor gear. New Albany, the Columbus Academy and Bexley are possible new OCC members this season, and Canal Winchester has tentatively agreed to join the league in 2018 when their current commitments expire. For those concerned with team size the WBFL will have a 16 player minimum this season.

The Whitehall Bantam Football League started in 1964, to teach children the fundamentals of playing football and cheer leading, and to just have fun!. By having good sportsmanship, and working together as a team to accomplish goals.
Today the league has the same attitude with giving children the best experience on and off the field, to have them grow and become a productive member of society .
Whitehall Bantam Football League coaches are certified thru USA Football and the Heads UP Program. USA Football is America's leading advocate for positive and safe sports and activities for children. USA Football offers programs and services for everyone involved in youth sports experiences, including professional administrators, volunteer administrators, volunteer coaches, officials, parents and young athletes. The goals of USA Football are Development + Participation + Safety + Values

Our league plays 7 full season games 1 playoff games and 1 CHAMPIONSHIP game
Practices are Monday Thru Thursdays 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Home Games are held during the week (unless we have a canceled game due to weather) which we be held on Sundays (times very due to refs availability)Mini OCC away games are played at the site of the opponent on Saturday's
Games are at 6:00pm and 7:30pm (YES, we do play under the lights)
Mini OCC away games are played on Saturday's at our opponents field.
