West Carroll Cheerleading is a Not-For-Profit organization designed to bring the best of sideline and competitive cheerleading to the children of our community.

2013/14 REGISTRATION DATES
All Registrations will be held at New Windsor Community Room located at 1100 Green Valley Road, New Windsor, Maryland 21776
- April 13th 10 am- 12 pm
- April 27th 10 am -12 pm
- May 18th 10 am- 12pm
- May 30th 6pm- 8pm
- June 11th 6pm- 8pm
- June 15th 10am- 12pm
- July 11th 6pm- 8pm
- July 13th 10 am - 12pm - Final Registration
- Meet the coach night is Thursday, Aug 1st 6-8 at N.W Community Room
- Practices begin August 5th.
2012/13 SIDELINE AND COMPETITIVE FEES
Sideline Season: August-November
$25 Uniform Rental
$215 Total Sideline
Competitive Season: November - Feb/Mar
***** Participants joining after sideline season will be charged the $85 registration fee and will be responsible for purchasing competitive shoes. Shoes must be the same style as the ones purchased by WCC.
*****Any new participant joining after sideline season must have participated in another recreational sport during our sideline seasons months.
HOW TO REDUCE THE FEES CHARGED FOR CHEER
All quality cheerleading programs involve fees for uniforms and competitions which vary by level. We understand that when it's all added up, cheerleading (especially competitive cheerleading) is an expensive sport. However, one of the best things about West Carroll Cheer is that we allow and encourage you to offset your expenses by earning rebates through fundraising activities and our sponsorship drive. If you bring in a sponsorship of a $100.00 or more, West Carroll Cheer will give back 20% of that sponsorship donation towards your registration fees.
In addition to our sponsorship drive give back, we will be offering a family fundraiser in October where each participating family can earn up to 100% of their competitive season fees.
MVA CARDS REQUIRED
All West Carroll Cheer and Rebels Xtreme Cheerleaders are required by league rules to have a current MVA Identification Card, These cards are valid for 3 years and cost $15 to obtain at the MVA location in Westminster. Parents/Child must provide The original birth certificate social security card and driver's license as proof of residency. The cards must be turned in to your child's coach NO LATER than September 1, 2010, so please make your way to the MVA soon. The identification cards will be returned to the parents when the uniforms are returned at the end of the season. For those cheerleaders staying with us through the Rebels Xtreme Season, the MVA cards will stay with us until the completion of the competitive season.

Sponsorships needed As a not-for-profit, recreational youth program, we can accept donations from local businesses that can and do support the youth of our community. The best time to approach the businesses in our community is over the summer months. An updated sponsor request form has been posted in the handout section of this web site. Please take copies of the forms wherever you go, especially when you are making a purchase.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
We want to remind our families that you should never assume that practice to canceled due to rain. If we cancel before 4pm, then you will be notified by e-mail. If we cancel after 4pm, you will also be notified by phone call or text message. During the winter months, Rebels Xtreme will always follow the Carroll County School system for decisions regarding weather related cancellations. If school has been canceled or has an early dismissal due to weather, then we are canceled too. If there is a delayed opening for the schools, then we will practice. Finally, if evening activites at the schools are canceled then we are canceled too.
